The story of clearly clinical
Clearly Clinical started out as a simple question:
How do we help people tap into their full potential?
Clearly Clinical is our answer to that question. We are in the business of helping individuals and companies jump up an echelon or two.
Clearly Clinical has a number of facets: A private psychotherapy practice, a law & ethics consulting business, and a national podcast behavioral health Continuing Education company.
What brings these ideas together, you might ask? Our mission is to help people learn, grow, and shine… we are in the business of human development and growing your skills.
Clearly Clinical’s President & founder, Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Irias, is a California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a passionate connecter of people. Beth considers herself a psychology MacGyver (no, not the new MacGyver… the original, classic one), and her passion is solving problems. She delights in getting to know people, and she has an eye for ethics… integrity is always her guiding light (so much so that the word is on her keyring, where it’s been for almost two dozen years!). In addition to her private practice, Beth consults with U.S. companies about how to best advocate for their clients, and she also runs the Continuing Ed company. She is fiercely passionate about mental health treatment, and she is also an advocate for LGBTQ+, women, and minorities (hence, her Continuing Ed platform donates to The Trevor Project and has a cultural diversity focus).
Clearly Clinical’s Vice President is John Irias, also a California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. John is one of those guys who looks you in the eye when he shakes your hand, and a colleague in his Master’s program once called him ‘a lighthouse’… he’s steadfast and committed to helping others. He’s worked in the field for over a decade, and his passion is working with young adults and adults. John’s focus is on providing great, customized psychotherapeutic care, and he’s worked in an array of work environments, from serving students at Moorpark College in their counseling center to working with individuals with more severe mental illness at Casa Esperanza and Optimum Performance Institute.
In case you’re wondering… yes, Beth and John are married, and they have two fantastic brown-eyed kiddos, a rescue dog, and a rescue cat. They also have a little lizard that hangs out in their garden, who they named Pete. In their spare time, Beth and John enjoy asking one another, “And how did that make you feel…?” (That’s a therapist joke…)
Clearly Clinical also works with a few other wonderful and talented professionals: Clinical Psychologist Dr. Stephen Winston and Dolores Gonzalez, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Dr. Winston and Dolores work closely with Beth in the management and administration of Clearly Clinical’s Continuing Education platform, serving on the board. Clearly Clinical’s administrative support whiz is Kristin Ketring… she’s the one who keeps the gears oiled.
So, here we are, and we’re glad you’re here, too. We look forward to helping you learn, grow, & shine. It’s our honor.
